Dr Ayan is an experienced medical broadcaster and writer. He trained in medicine at The Imperial College School of Medicine qualifying in 1999. He then completed his family practice training after various hospital posts. After a six year stint as lead partner in a practice in North London, he is now a partner in a NHS town centre practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire. His interests are in mens health, illness prevention, psychology in medicine and communication. He enjoys the performing arts and all things musical in his spare time. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is currently presenting The Health Show on BBC World News.
